Measuring and signalling torque wrench with dial gauge and multi-functional friction pointer for controlled fastening and checking of tension on existing fastenings, with dual scale in Nm and lbf-in/lbf-ft on two-tone, easily legible dial faces. With double square drive with ball locking and
integrated ratchet function for clockwise and anti-clockwise tightening (except EDS models). Built in overload protection - mechanical stop up to 25% overload of max. value. Display is accurate to ± 4% of the displayed value, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789, based on national standards.
The enclosure is a light, sturdy specially designed aluminium construction, painted red, with black, wear-resistant rubber handles. Models BDS, CDS and DDS are fitted as standard with an audiovisual signal alerting the operator when the set torque is reached. ADS models are EPA-compliant (EPA = Electrostatic Protected Area), for use in electrostatically sensitive applications. EDS models have a two-part handle for easier storage and transport. Delivered in a sturdy plastic box (except for EDS models), with factory test certificate to DIN EN ISO 6789.
