The SIMPLEX 3749 soft face hammer from HALDER uses a combination of copper and aluminium. The copper insert is the hardest in the SIMPLEX series, allowing a high striking force with a softer strike compared to a steel hammer. The silver-coloured soft metal insert is made from aluminium and is slightly softer than the copper insert, heat-resistant and replaces a classic lead hammer. The high strength of the steel cast housing is ensured by its greater wall thickness and additional bracing of the reinforced black housing. The increased mass delivers increased impact force.
